Support you can feel confident in

We know how important it is to feel confident about who you’re reaching out to. At Thriving In Unity, you won’t find call centres or a rotating list of support workers — just real people with real experience, who care about doing things properly.

You’ll be met with honesty, warmth and a team who will do the work to understand you, your goals and what you actually need from your NDIS supports.

Frequently asked questions

Have a few things you’re wondering about? Here are some common questions people often ask when they’re thinking about working with us or exploring support options.

Do you support people with complex or high support needs?

Yes, we do. Our team has clinical experience and has supported people with a wide range of physical, behavioural, and health-related support needs. We understand that complex support isn’t just about qualifications — it’s also about being consistent, patient, and clear.

If you or someone you’re supporting needs help with high intensity daily personal activities, medical routines, or equipment, we’ll work closely with you to make sure everything is delivered safely, respectfully, and in a way that works for you. We take the time to get it right.

Unfortunately, a lot of people come to us after things haven’t gone well elsewhere — and we take that seriously.

We don’t make assumptions or expect you to trust us straight away. Instead, we move at your pace, talk through what hasn’t worked before, and make sure your preferences are actually listened to. It’s not about rushing in with a new plan — it’s about rebuilding trust and working in a way that feels steady, respectful, and safe.

We’ve supported many people in this situation, and we’re here when you’re ready.

Absolutely. Good support doesn’t happen in isolation — it works best when everyone’s on the same page. We’re happy to talk with your family, carers, or support coordinator (if you have one) so they feel confident too. We’ll always respect your privacy and choices, and you can decide who you want involved. Our goal is to make things clearer and easier for you — and communication is a big part of that.

Once you contact Thriving In Unity, we’ll start by having a friendly, casual chat to understand what you’re looking for. From there, we’ll talk about how we can help, and what next steps might look like. You can ask as many questions as you like, and nothing is locked in until you’re comfortable.

We’ll work with you to keep things simple and at a pace that suits you.

Definitely. Life changes — and so should your support. If something isn’t working anymore, or you want to try something new, we’ll work with you to update your support in a way that still feels right. We don’t set things in stone — we check in, adjust, and make sure your NDIS services keep working for you.
